As a small, specialised team, it's been challenging to sustain ourselves under the pressure created by the pandemic. As such, we've decided to wrap up the company and its current engagements.
We want to say a deep thank you to all our clients and our partners. We rooted for you and created everything with you in mind. You supported us through our journey by sharing your visions and successes with us.
We'd also like to thank the many disabled and neurodivergent people who provided their time and expertise to help us ensure our work was accessible. Without you, we wouldn't have been Passio.
Passio was founded to build a more inclusive world - an ambitious goal for a small team! It's incredible to think of what we've achieved over the last 3 years. Some highlights include: providing mental health support for NHS staff, creating better experiences for young people with disabilities, increasing autonomy for autistic people in care settings, crowdsourcing ventilator designs during the pandemic, and improving customer service for disabled people. Acknowledging the impact of our work is both deeply gratifying, and very humbling at the same time.
We believe that inclusive companies have the best opportunity to build inclusive products. The team has always strived to achieve this; from the way we approached compensation and language within the team, to the ways we co-created technology with our users.
It has been an honour to work with you all.
